OCCAR-EA Director - Focus on Qualified Personnel

Bonn, 9 April 2024 – The OCCAR-EA Director welcomed the President of the Bildungszentrum der Bundeswehr (BiZBw) (Bundeswehr Training Centre) Mr. Reifferscheid as well the Head of the Division for Personnel I, Mr. Moritz from the German Federal Ministry of Defence (DE MoD).

The fruitful exchange focused on the need and the challenges faced in multinational armament cooperation arena, particularly the central role played by qualified personnel in the National Defence Administrations and International Programme Management Organisations, such as OCCAR. The meeting concluded in a mutual agreement to foster close collaboration and life-long learning to succeed in today´s fast-changing defence environment.
