OCCAR Director sign General Security Agreement with Bulgaria

On 26 June 2023, the Bulgarian National Security Agency Director signed the General Security Agreement with OCCAR in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The document was countersigned by the OCCAR-EA Director, Mr. Joachim Sucker at the OCCAR-EA premises in Bonn, Germany on 30 June, 2023. The document came into being after fruitful negotiation between OCCAR-EA and Bulgarian NSA, which started in 2022 after the Board of Supervisors provided OCCAR-EA with the mandate to start the negotiation. This Security Agreement is a first big step in a hopefully long lasting relationship between OCCAR and Bulgaria.
