OCCAR Director presented at the Defence Commission of the Italian Chamber of Deputies

The Italian Defence Commission welcomed OCCAR-EA Director Matteo Bisceglia to the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome on 17th February 2022.

The Director presented the Commission with an overview of OCCAR’s essential contribution to Member States and Participating States and how OCCAR ensures collaborative intergovernmental procurement and management support within the defence armament sector.

The Director highlighted the need for cooperative capability building and the key role that OCCAR could play in the defence procurement arena.
