LRR In Service Support 2023-2027 contract signed

On 31 October 2022, the FSAF/PAAMS Programme Division achieved the first significant milestone of the ISS contract renewal by signing the new In Service Support (ISS) contract with THALES NEDERLAND for a duration of 5 years, covering from 2023 to 2027.

Since the 2nd November 2017, THALES NEDERLAND has become the prime contractor & partner of the FSAF/PAAMS Programme Division for the Long Range Radar ISS. The fruitful cooperation between all the stakeholders and the high end-user feedback and satisfaction drive OCCAR-EA to keep the same contract organisation.

Furthermore, due to the benefit of such contract signed directly with THALES NEDERLAND, DE&S has decided to enlarge the ISS scope by including the LRR on-board the 2 QE class and the one installed on the Maritime Integration and Support Centre (MISC).

Finally, the current efficiency of the LRR ISS and the results achieved for including some new services within the new contract demonstrate that OCCAR keep delivering the best service to their end-users.
