High Level institutional meetings in Greece

On 02 November 2022, the Director met with the Greek Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Mr Konstantinos Fragkogiannis with whom he discussed the opportunities for Greek Industry to join collaborative defence programmes.

The Director also met with the Greek National Armaments Director Vice Adm Aristeidis Alexopoulos to present the OCCAR organisation, business model and portfolio and to discuss the Greek participation in the EDF project European Patrol Corvette.

Finally, the Director also met with the Greek Minister of Defence Mr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulous with whom he discussed possible forms of cooperation as strategic solution for Greek and European defence.
