FSAF-PAAMS TORO Contract Signature

Paris, 5 Sept 2023 - Contracting Authority OCCAR-EA placed a contract on behalf of Italy for the support of TORO Power Generators. The contract was awarded to ARIS S.r.l., the Prime Manufacturer, System Design Authority and Owner of the TORO systems, located in Piedmont, Italy.

The Italian Army currently uses the TORO Power Generator as an additional piece of equipment embedded within the SAMP/T System. The TORO In-Service Support (ISS) contract is of paramount importance for the maintenance of the system, ensuring its efficiency, reliability and availability whilst also meeting expected costs. The contract sees the integration of on-call/on-demand services to include preventive and corrective maintenance activities, as well as spare parts procurement and guarantees on-site technical assistance. The contract allows for high levels of flexibility to meet the Nation´s needs and has been placed for an initial three years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.
