OCCAR-EA Director attended Seafuture 2021

On the 28th September the OCCAR-EA Director attended the 7th Seafuture event in La Spezia Navy shipyard, promoting the OCCAR role in the defence cooperative environment as well as presenting the current and future challenges of the organisation.

For the very first time, OCCAR established a dedicated stand in a defence exposition to maintain and reinforce relationships with foreign Navies' representatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Major Industrial Groups.

As an International Organisation with a European vocation, OCCAR represents a unique opportunity for Nations (even non OCCAR Member States) to get the best from the programme management and commercial expertise developed over the last 20 years.

Following his presentation, the OCCAR Director attended a Round Table - moderated by Mr Peruzzi – along with the NAVARM Director (VADM Guma) and the Top Management of FINCANTIERI (Mr. Giordo), LEONARDO (Mr. De Fazio), MBDA (Mr. Mariani), and NAVIRIS (Mr. Centofanti and Mr. Bonetti).

The Round Table was an outstanding opportunity to share opinions and way forward about the defence cooperation as source for innovation, competitiveness and for the development of new common military capabilities.
