OCCAR presents BOXER Programme at Future Armoured Vehicle Conference Central & Eastern Europe 2025 (FAVCEE)

Prague/Czech Republic, 19-20 May, 2025 – The OCCAR BOXER Programme Division was invited to present at the Future Armoured Vehicle Conference Central & Eastern Europe 2025 (FAVCEE). OCCAR-EA and the BOXER Programme were represented by Mr Matthew West, OCCAR BOXER PD Deputy Technical Section Leader.

The conference’s central theme was empowering armoured modernisation for tactical dominance and enhanced security in Europe. The majority of the speakers focused on the excellent advantages achieved by multinational cooperation, and the need to streamline defence procurement, in an ever-changing world that requires both flexibility and agility to meet the ever increase threats. Insights from Ukraine shared the growing use and importance of AI to enhance both equipment capabilities and the tactic advantage.

OCCAR in its central role at the forefront of European multinational cooperation is well placed to meet the needs of Nations, with BOXER as the standout armoured vehicle example of adaptability with its modular design. BOXER continues to evolve, with new variants and subsystems under development, which will play a key role in European security for years to come.
