OCCAR participates at Future Land Forces Conference 2024

Warsaw/Poland, 6 November 2024 – The BOXER Programme Manager, Alexandra Alonzi, from OCCAR-EA (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation) at the Future Land Forces 2024 event presented the BOXER Programme and OCCAR as an Organisation held in Warsaw, Poland, organised by Defence Leaders.

The conference was attended by over 600 participants, including defence leaders and military personnel from many different nations, as well as hosting a defence industry exhibition.

In support of the conference’s aim to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and discussion of shared challenges to achieve success in future land warfare, OCCAR-EA was asked to present an update on OCCAR-EA as an Organisation and its portfolio of land programmes, which included COBRA, ESSOR, NVC and VBAE Programmes, as well as Wide Wet Gap Crossing and GA-10 Programmes currently under integration.

Additionally, a specific BOXER Programme presentation was delivered, providing an overview and update on current and future BOXER developments. This event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with a wide audience to share key messages and answer questions on OCCAR-EA’s role in facilitating international cooperation and to increase awareness of specific programme objectives to deliver state-of-the-art defence capabilities on behalf of OCCAR Member and Participating States.
