General Security Agreement Signed with Greece

On 30 June 2023, the OCCAR-EA Director signed the General Security Agreement with Greece at the OCCAR premises in Bonn, Germany. The document was countersigned by the Greek Director for Defence Investment and Armaments on 31 July 2023.

The document came into being following successful negotiations between OCCAR-EA and the GR NSA, which were started in June 2022, following the OCCAR Board of Supervisors provision of mandate to the OCCAR-EA to commence negotiations.

This Security Agreement is a further substantial step toward developing an enduring relationship between OCCAR and Greece.
