FSAF-PAAMS Amendment 17 Sustainment & Enhancement Contract Signed

Paris/France, 06 Feb 2026 – The OCCAR-EA Director Joachim Sucker, on behalf of Italy, and Eurosam Managing Director Anne Diaz De Tuesta signed the 17th Contract Amendment for the FSAF-PAAMS Sustainment & Enhancement (S&E) Contract, which covers the implementation of integration capacities in Italy for the Aster Missiles family in addition to the already existing capacities in France.

The capacity which will be implemented at the Aulla site will allow to integrate the different configurations of the Aster Missile family and provide the capacity to maintain and repair the Italian stockpile while the integration capacity at Fusaro site will provide the facilities to integrate the seeker of the Aster B1NT.

This amendment also includes the integration of additional orders placed by OCCAR on behalf of the Participating States for the SAMPT NG and Aster B1NT.

OCCAR is proud to have placed this new major contract amendment within the particular global context, which demonstrates the importance to increase production capacities in order to fulfil Nations’ needs in the Long-Range Surface based Air Missiles Defence systems, to face more and more challenging threats.
