Madrid,
Spain, 22 May 2024 - The 1st HYDEF Programme Committee Meeting was held,
attended by the Programme Committee Representatives from the Participating
States, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Poland and Spain, OCCAR-EA Head of
Programmes, Mr. Darren Ash, and the HYDEF Programme Division staff.
The
meeting was the first important opportunity to update the Programme Committee
Representatives on the progress of the programme from the contract start date, 31
October 2023, until 30 April 2024.
The
most important message conveyed to the Participating States was that the HYDEF
programme is on schedule, informing them about the High-Level Objectives and
Milestones achieved, as well as the main activities carried out during the
above-mentioned reporting period.
In
addition, Participating States were informed about some highlights related to
the achievement of the first technical milestone, the Mission Concept
Milestone, achieved on 24 April 2024, and the second management milestone, the
Progress Review Meeting 1, held on 25 April 2024.
The
HYDEF PC meeting concluded after reporting to the Participating States on the
next planned activities and targets to be achieved during the next reporting
period, from 1 May to 31 October 2024.
