2 OCCAR BoM 2022 welcome by the Mayor in Mantua

The second Board of Managers of 2022 took place in Mantua Italy. OCCAR-EA was welcomed by the mayor of Mantua, Mr Mattia Palazzi in the palazzo d’Arco. The Director had a private meeting with the mayor during which he explained what OCCAR is, its role and what it stands for in the European defence arena.

The mayor emphasized the importance of international organisations such as OCCAR in their role to share research and technology between regions and nations. The mayor expressed his belief in the increasing importance of a real European defence transcending the individual and national beliefs in European defence matters.
